I have an alienware m17x r2 that is currently not responsive at all. The power adapter has the blue light on but my entire laptop doesnt light up when plugged. The alienhead doesnt even light up. I did a CMOs reset as well as a hard reset (the whole take out battery and hold down power button for 30 secs) and i even took out the control center. Anyone else have this issue?

Any idea what you did last time which caused the laptop to come to this state? or out of nowhere? well, does the charger light remains lit when it is plugged in the laptop ?

well the thing is i was just surfing youtube and then a message popped up saying that my laptop is now running on battery power. i thought the charger was disconnected but when i checked it was still plugged in. and yes my charger is lit even when the cable is plugged into the laptop.

well then it is possibly some kind of hardware issue from the motherboard of your laptop ... wont be that much difficult to get it repaired i guess , take it to a good technician and get it checked ..good luck :)
