Hi,
I built my setup where i use external monitors and decided to keep laptop closed. It works fine with lid closed, i changed the setup not to have it on sleep when lid is getting closed but i have no idea if there is any chance to turn it on without need of putting the lid back up.
I have it hidden so its pain to press that power button everyday. Is there any chance to make it work from keyboard or mouse? I read that you can enable funcion in the Bios but i couldnt find anything like that. Maybe i am looking wrong or maybe there is another option. Just simple one, without need of messing with hardware![]()
Thanks for help!

Disable lid settings, then disable the internal screen in windows.

Your screen is cycling because its not disabled in windows.
Disable the monitor as you would any other in the display settings. -
My question is, wont it mess laptop in case any emergency? I have my work on it so would prefer not to have a situation where i disable monitor display and then cant get back to it in case of urgent situation where monitors for example stop workingIt was already stressufl when it started to turn itself off completely after i put it on the sleep.
Also even when i put it on the sleep earlier, i wasnt able to wake it up from keyboard/mouse. -
That setting is only in place under that configuration, you would just need to unplug the monitor and the internal display would initialize as per norm.
If you cant disable any display at all, you have other issues present in your windows installation.
