    Alienware M17X review

    The Laptop had come in a nice Black Box, without any Alienware logo on it. After opening the box, there was another one inside with a blue Alien Head which was opened.

    Inside was the Accessories box which included.

    1. Alienware sticker

    2. 3 Alien ware cd’s

    3. Alienware Mouse Pad- This was really nice

    4. Charger for M17X

    5. Owners Manual which was so much better then Dell Laptop manual.

    Then the Beast was unwrapped. It was very well protected with a cloth made exclusively by Alienware. After taking that out the Laptop was one massive machine.



    Here is a picture of how it looks.





    They keyboard was excellent a full sized keyboard with great feeling to it when typing. When the Alien was turned it looked amazing with the full illuminated keyboard. (blue).

    After the entire vista set up it took me straight to my desktop. I immediately went to Alien command center and started to play with the FX lighting system it was such a great feeling inside to see all the different colours that can be used to make your system look amazing.



    The speakers on this system are mind blowing, excellent clarity just like a desktop speakers, on the full volume, the sound covered my entire house. With the built in subwoofer, the bass was excellent.



    My specifications are in my sig, I have tested crisis, Call of duty 4 modern warfare, Flight simulator x Deluxe with Acceleration pack. All these games run on very High/ultra high without any lagging or getting stuck.

    Over all this is the best laptop ever and I am glad to have got it.

    Compared to other laptops I have heard, the M17x has excellent speakers. It doesn't sound distorted or anything, and they are quite loud. I could hear music playing from the other side of the house from it. I'm VERY pleased with the speakers that are in it.

    I have no idea what benchmarks are lol, I only play games and stuff thats it. Sorry for that.


    As for the speakers when you increase the volume the sound clarity does not decrease.
