So my M17x was delivered this weekend, and while I love it (WAY faster than my old Inspiron 6000), I've noticed 2 issues.
    1) The top front corners are SHARP! Especially the on the left side where my wrist wants to rest. Anyone have any suggestions for dealing with this that does NOT involve a file or the like?

    2) My cursor jumps all over the place when I'm using the trackpad, and sometimes even when it's not being touched. I'm using the stock Windows 7 drivers as the Synaptics drivers ruined scrolling -- my windows would go from top directly to bottom, nothing in-between.

    Any ideas/suggestions?

    Thanks!

If it's moving when its not being touched then it might be a hardware issue. You might want to call support. Although you could try using different synaptics drivers; there are ones that allow 2 finger scrolling, which I've found to be decent enough to avoid the sensitivity of the win7 drivers. (sorry don't have link on hand)

As for the sharpness I can't think of anything aside from filing / getting replacement. I got a replacement recently and its 'sharper' than my previous unfortunately, but I don't mind it too much.
