Have a XPS M1730 at present with a fried GPU, alot of people have been posting that they are getting M17x replacement due to no stock of the M1730 gpus, are the GPU stable in the m17x ?

There seems to be a huge difference in the cooling abilities of the 2 systems.
    The M17x runs alot cooler.

The M17x actually remains cool to the touch.

Having to run heating in my house more as the m1730 normally keeps room warm!!
