Anyone found any deals here for this Box
the US had a super deal of a free upgrade to dual 280M's AND the Q9000 Quad core chip
Dell Canada was hosing it's customers here and charging +$ 1,000 extra for those 2 options here. No discounts anywhere on it's website
When I called them, they said to me "the website has the best price, we cannot even give you $ 50 on a 3000$ + config ... Riiiiight.
And Dell wonders why it's losing marketshare in the market all the time; geeez, I wonder why...
Anyways. anyone in Canada got a good deal or do I have to wait, if ever, if they'll ever wake up?
Thx in advance to all
thx for listening to my rant, here's hoping someone got a good deal that they can share, because I sure cannot find one....
take care

SO considering the speed this has sunk down the threads, is it just plain nothing to say on it and I am stuck ?

seems your seeking a pat on the back or some such comfort from people that have no way of assisting you.
we here at NBR AW forums cannot call dell.ca and tell them to price match...
your best bet is to continue to look at the dell.ca site each day for changes and offers.
your next bet is to have a handfull of various prices and offers from other retailers/sites and talk with a supervisor and discuss opportunities for price matching.
but remember: be polite and professional, even if they cant do anything for you. -
Or you can find a friend in the US

And now, I don't want a pat on the back of sympathy, I was looking for advice such as this, about what I could do to change this
Sheesh, had a bad day Ryujin ?
Anybody else has any advice, I do HATE the fact I have to try to beat them into submission, to give me even a portion of what they've already offered in teh US
thx again geby & sleey0

You know the Dell cust. support in Canada is a really big joke, its garbage. I had to yell at 400 Indian employees to get what i wanted. They are useless. I have a notepad with at least 11 different numbers that I've been transferred to. Any support from now on, i just look thru the forum or just do it myself. It's not worth the 2 hour calls and then get transferred to a non-existent number in the end.
