Hello guys, long time no see!

Anyways I seem to have ran into a little problem.

Recently I decided I needed 2GB of ram on my laptop and I only had 1GB (as at the time Alienware charged like 250 for 2gb lol) So anyways, I purchased a set of G.Skills and installed them. I booted up the laptop, it booted up fine but it only detected 1GB? I am not sure what I could have done wrong, as the process is pretty straight forward.

    Thanks in advance.

Try reseating the memory modules and see if that helps.
