Ok, when you checkout -- you have to pay for tax. Right?
I was just wondering what is the maximum amount of $$$ a person can pay in the US?
Trying to see if this store is scamming me.
Thanks

What's the name of the store? Usually, tax within the US is based on the state you live in. I live in New Jersey, so I a experience a 7% sales tax.
-
Suburban Chicago, and city of Chicago, taxes range and exceed 9 percent.
Im pretty sure you an find specifics here > Consumer Price Index (CPI)
Sorry, Ive searched the site and still cant locate retail tax tables,
thought I would leave the link since it is another awesome reference 'we' should be aware of. -hubs- -
No max amount of tax in US. Just a percentage of the purchase. For example, it's 6 percent here in CT.
-
13 % here in Ontario, Canada
-
8.25% here in the lonestar state.
-
It's 7% in Singapore.
-
I bought it when i was in Boston, MA.
253 dollars when the subtotal was 4041. -
North Carolina: 7.750% however I did not pay for that in tax holiday. (I saved $200 for tax, and $500 from Dell total = $700)
-
It's 9.25% in Southern California and around 19% in most of Europe.
-
0% in the fine state of New Hampshire.
Booyeah -
Everything has no taxes, and close to Boston too
