I'm kinda in dissolution on this one. While I have owned handhelds in the past, none recently, last and only one being a game gear (glances around) I have played the sony psp 3000/go and gameboy. As the hardcore gamer would say, to much gaming is even better but for me as much as I love mmorpgs i cant make any type of unbias reception to alienware developing there own handheld. I am excited for the new nintendo 3ds tho.

In the mean time, I'll be able to test out the glasses-free 3D LCD display next month, since I ordered the new Fujifilm 3D camera, which uses the same tech as the 3DS... -

The PSP was the most boring gaming device I've ever owned in my life. The fact that they're simply sticking on the PSP's controls to a generic Win7 phone is just a waste of the worlds resources.
The 3DS as pplz have mentioned.... If I can play The Legend of Zelda: OoT and Majors mask.... im gonna be in LOVE! -
Having owned both systems I can honestly say that the PSP was a waste of my money as a gaming platform. Most games on the PSP lacked style and therefore be very boring. The graphics chip just didnt have the horsepower to make the games look good, which made the graphics look kinda bad compared to todays standard.
The DS on the other hand had a lot of games with style and/or a really cool gameplay thanks to the stylus and dual screen. Some of my favourite games are:
Trauma Center (really cool idea being a surgeon)
Zelda
Ace Attorney Series
(and the list goes on)
The PSP just felt like a PS2 in small format, giving you nothing more than there already was. -

Wow, you guys serious? I loved my PSP! I had a DS longer than I had a PSP, and still only had about 7 games for it, while I had about 16 or so PSP games. I don't know, there were just more games for it that I liked.
What I don't like is that Sony can't seem to carry the ball more than about 5 feet. They created a wonderful system with the PSP, then promptly ruined it. They came out with the 2000, which solved the size problems but kept the screen ghosting problems. Then they made the 3000, which solved the ghosting by replacing it with... interlacing. And it looked like crap. Then they made the PSPgo, in which they decided to screw over all loyal PSP fans by making them buy all their games over again, and charge about twice as much for the new neutered system...
yeah...

Did either of you get the Head to Head version of Football? The bus ride was always shorter with one of those.
It will be interesting if another contender (Alienware or otherwise) can knock off Nintendo from the top seat of the handhelds. The PSP fell short for me. My son took it with him and put Linux on it. The 3DS has a ton of potential and without the added cost of glasses. Can't wait for a 3D Zelda. -

Nope, never got that one. Did get a game called "Master Blaster", which used that blue vacuum plasma display and shot down UFOs.
Then came Nintendo's "Game and Watch" series. Indeed, "Popeye" and "Donkey Kong" double screen versions looked eerily similar to the DS
I'll let everyone know how the 3D display looks when my camera comes in... -
