    There not going to do it. Either press or Lawyer now. Worst buy ever....... Learned my lesson, I'm going back to cheap notebooks and I'll go back to building my own high end systems myself, from now on.

    I have been posting around the forums. I think Alienware is a company that needs constant, constructive pressure from unsatisfied customers.

    You have been given a raw deal by them and thereby burnt in the process.

    Personally, with my normal "tell it like it is" attitude, I hopefully have made the Alienware team think a little. I want to buy the meanest machine Alienware has to offer in two years time.

    But, I need reliability and solid engineering. They have two whole years to prove that they are able to harness and make use of what they already have as staff to go from mere assembly to excellence.

    Pride in the product you are building is the key.

    How is that a chirp from a person that has never owned anything that Alienware has ever built. But, that looks forward to their future excellence??

    i think lawyers are the way to go here. the man deserves his money back. as for buying AW in 2 years' time, your call.
