Very interesting but not sure how they can go from Adamo to an Alienware brand since Adamo was geared towards executives and Alienware towards gamers.

maybe AW is going to expand to business computers, they are already powerful enough and the style is very appealing to anybody. if they got a m13 case built and then renamed the x to a B for business, i can see it. just sayin!

No business person in their right mind would say that Alienware styling is appealing. I am in commercial real estate and I had a vynal sticker made to actually cover up my m11x to make it more "business friendly". The last thing I want is a client to think that I rather be gaming then property hunting/number crunching.

The article says it may get snatched up and called an XPS... I think its going to go that route...

Actually when I see an alienware in the wild I don't get 'gamer' I get 'baddie from 24, bad enough to give Jack Bauer a very hard time' :p

The first thing I get when people see the alien head is "What kind of computer is that?!" Unless you're a gamer, you probably won't know what the Alienware brand is. I really doubt that Dell would brand a business computer with the Alienware name.

Alienware just doesn't seem to have the vibe of a business laptop brand to me. Obviously the computers would perform that job excellently, but they just seem a little bit thick and different for business minded folks. I agree with that the XPS line will probably take it over, especially since the XPS 14 just vanished.
