    Hi Guys,

I have my eyes on Dell Alienware 15 (3701) with below specs in my country:

    i7 7700HQ
    256GB SSD + 1TB
    RAM 32GB
    FHD 15.6
    GTX 1070

The only thing I am not sure is that whether this FHD is 120 hz and with Gsync or not?

I know its not 120Hz but whether its Gsync or not? its a deal breaker for me. Bad news is that the store people are also not sure. I need to confirm it before I buy and they are saying they can't confirm it.
Funny thing is that same store at branch is saying its Gsync and same store in another branch saying its not.

    What are your suggestions?

Specs are on Alienware's/Dell's site. Yes all the 120hz panels have G-Sync. (should not be a deal-breaker though, it is not some magical thing that will make viewing pleasure much better)

    I don't understand how G-Sync is crucial for a 120Hz screen.
1- You will hardly notice tearing in such high frame rates, so G-Sync is only a luxury in this case. (And also imperfect, which will lead to issues for some games)
2- The GTX 1070 will hardly hit 120Fps in most of the AAA titles. If you lock your FPS to 119 and enable Fast Sync, there will be more input lag, but the response time of the panel is already better than 90% of laptop screens.
