So, I've done a ton of searching and I've had a hard time finding an answer to my question. I just ordered an Alienware M17 laptop and ordered the AlienRespawn disk with it. Unforunately, I only spec'ed out the laptop to have a 160gb primary drive. As soon as I get it, if I take out the 160gb drive and put a brand new 500gb drive in and then boot from AlienRespawn, will it work?

Can you give more details on how that works, do you need to insert the disk provided?

    cheers

OK so you change the HD so there is a new drive. un formated un installed?

your first disk you use is the respawn, and you hit f12 and boot from that.

    is that it?
