Just got home and booted up the laptop and got an update notice for the respawn software?

Did the ole next next etc..then got a notice Do not Power of your PC or disconnect the power chord until the this process is complete..

It then began updating the recovery partition and writing files to it then when it was done wanted a reboot.

nothing wrong with that. DataSafe Local (Alienware Respawn is a rebrand of it) does the same thing from time to time.

    Great, thanks!

On a side note.....I was a little shocked that to utilize the full features of respawn i would have to pay for it? You would think it would be a standard feature on a laptop costing that much.
