i tried downloading it but it didnt pop up my download tool, so i refreshed and tried clicking on the download button again POP (you cant download more than 1 file at a time)

try clearing your cache and retry, use the free download.

I know it's rather late but I only just made these 3 today. 1 is blue, 1 is red, and there is also a Tron version to be used with the Alien FX Tron 3 theme (that's the one I'm using).

To download them, see 3 posts down from this one (I have improved the Tron version so the original download link has been removed).

Please let me know if you like them even if they are a little basic.

Great screensavers! Where did you get the tron theme? can you share that?

 

The soundtrack of the Tron screenaver has been improved. All 3 are available for download HERE.
The Tron1 AlienFX theme can be downloaded HERE. Please note that this theme works with M17x R1 and R2.
I'm not sure if it will work with R3 but it may do so by all means give it a shot. I doubt it would work with
other Alienware PC's although that would not stop you using the Tron1 screensaver which is still my favorite.

Please read the comments section of each zip archive for installation instructions.

Hey i edited the screensaver file, and made a "Full version" That doesn't cut out and show the add. It does the start up flames, and then loops on the burning, so it just keeps on going like a real screensaver. enjoy.

Okay, that screen saver evidently "expires" cause i used trial software to create it... sorry.

ptolemaio, thanks for this. I think it would be better if it was half the size as with the original. Do you have the possibility to export your animation as an animated GIF or SWF? It has plenty of potential for background improvement! If you cannot export it in either of those formats could you let me have the individual frames to experiment with please?

 

Not Alienware, but Matrix screensavers look really cool with AW systems.

This one also lets you change the color of the scrolling characters, so you can match it with your FX lightning (mine's blue atm =D)

yea, the alienware "allpowerful" screensaver is the eyes of fire one.

there was one more they came out with that i looked at that had what looked like an alien behind foggy glass, and then he swipes his hand on the glass, but there was no smooth way to make that one loop-able in my opinion.

so anyways, here is the eyes of fire "allpowerful" screensaver, without the ads, hosted on mediafire

Hey, sorry I didn't make the original flash video, i just found exported it from the original screensaver file, edited it, then popped it back in. so it will be the quality that it was originally made at :-/

 

Yea, all it uses it a .SWF file that it plays. I embedded into the .SWF file a loop after the burn gets fired up.
