Alienware Shipping/Production Times M15x & M17x

So I ordered my new M15x on the 6th and the estimated delivery date is the 21st. I had some issues getting the order placed, so they decided to refund my next day shipping fee as a bonus (really great).

The real thing I am wondering though, is how long your machines were in each phase and if you received your system early, on time, or late and possibly why.

tl;dr How long did it take for you to get your system?

 

i order mine on dec31 and the estimated time was on the 24th.. i was surprised when i got an email on jan 6 saying that my order already been shipped .. dell just deliverd my m17x this morning at 8 00 in da moring. so it only took 9 days from the time i order it ..

 

I've been seeing turn around time of 8-10 days, from order to recieve. most of that time is production than 1-2 day for shipping and boxing.

 

iv ordered 7 systems in the last 5 years from dell and usualy they beat there estimated time by a week or 2

 

Awesome news. Well it is the weekend now so hopefully early next week I get some happy news. It would be nice to have it before my Universiy's winter break ends on the 19th!

seems like its getting faster and faster each time i purchase somthing i ordered my system at like 9pm est time monday and they shipped it out today i found out just got a email saying that the system was picked up by fed ex and shipped at 9am thismorning so that means it was 5 days from purchase to ship wow

Off topic: I wonder what game I should buy to play when I get it?

 

Anyone else have a story they could share? I am really anxious and hope that it comes early. But I doubt everyone had the same early arrival experience as the previous posters. Anyone?
