Are there any stores in CA which has a display of the Alienwares? I want to get one online but want to have a physical look at it before making a decision.

I hear some best buys have them on the floor. Call to be sure first.

Fry's electronics should also carry them.

Fry's, Micro Center and Best Buy should all have stores in California.

The Best Buy I work at doesn't have any Alienwares sadly., otherwise I would definately be looking in to the R3 more :p Not that I need it. Would be nice to toy with them though.

Yeah, the Fry's are odd, here in Atlanta they "only" have the M15x-R2, while Microcenter has only the M11x-R1.... go figure.

I checked both Fry's and BestBuy in the Bay area yesterday and both don't have any alienwares. Any specific stores you can recommend?

I finally found an Alienware M15x on display in Sunnyvale Fry's. I'm still hunting to see an M11x on display before I proceed to buy it.

Bestbuy in Duarte, CA and Pasadena, CA have m11x on display, and Frys in City of Industry, CA has the m15x on display (if I remember correctly). If you're in norcal or elsewhere, sorry. But hopefully this info will be useful to SoCal ppl :)
