I'm posting this information because it took me a 1 hour long call to dell to finally have this info mailed to me. I was mainly concerned about the poling rate. I was either gonna get a mirror finish razer lycosa or this keyboard depending on the polling rate. Since it has the good polling rate I will be getting this. I figured it would be good to have this information posted.

Some great news. I ordered this keyboard and got them to come down to 70 dollars and free shipping. Here is what I told them. I said that the Razer Lycosa has the fast polling rate and backlight capabilities and is only 70 dollars and is shipped free. I'm going to order that unless you can match it. And of course he matched it! This is what I love about Dell, they are so easy to haggle cheaper prices with. I feel bad for the people that just accept the price on the web and just buy stuff.

Nice info...I may have to check this out!!

@laststop311, I so agree with you on feeling sorry for those that pay list prices. I even try to haggle on sale prices :D

@laststop311 What's your impression of it? I have a Logitech G11 that's seen better days and I'm in the market for a new one. For some reason I'm having issues finding a decent review of this thing, most have been copy and paste press releases.

Thats because it is. Logitech makes it for Alienware...

Nothing suprising. Razer made gear for VooDoo in the past

Still in search of a curved gaming keyboard, sort of like the MS 2000 KB. Oh well, if not for the shape, a nice keyboard indeed :)

I have it, I paid 80£ for it, don't laugh at me, cry for UK residents and how we get ripped off.

It's a good keyboard. Keys are comfortable. I paid so much for it for the colored backlighting. Gaming on it, is a pleasure.

    Enjoy it

Meh. I paid full price for miine and have zero regrets. It's not worth my time to try and talk a better price out of someone over the phone.

Dude this is just the tip of the iceberg, UK customers typically pay 1.5x as much as UK customers.

You have got to be kidding me! ! ! !

I just order the RAZER Lycosa on Saturday because I ended up buying an external monitor for my M17x (ASUS VW266H. which im unfortunitely returning and looking for on with better colors representation) because the Alienware Tacx keyboard has not been up for sale on Alienware/Dell's website for a few months. I held off on buying one cause I wasn't in the market for a Monitor now I am.

I never even though of haggling Dell about bringing the price down!! I think I might make a call to them today even though the RAZER Lycosa I bought is supposed to be here today!! =/.

I am torn between what I should do haha.

God Bless and thx for the Info!!!!

Ok so i have talked to about 8 different dell customer support reps today just to see how much of a deal I could get by haggling prices.

I talked to 3 people and was unsuccessful in getting anywhere with bringing down the price of the Alienware TactX Keyboard.
The fourth person I talked to was really nice and spend a while figuring out what he could do. I then told him that I wanted to possibly get a monitor preferring the AW2310 23" 3D monitor.

I currently have an ASUS 4 days old and I can't stand the colors. (plain Terrible)

After conversing a few minutes I asked to see if he could do anything if I bought both so he then asked his manager what he could do. He came back and said that he could sell me the AW2310 3D Monitor and the Alienware Tactx Keyboard for $525 free shipping.

Should I have gone with the deal?
