This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Alienware Tech out today to fix my comp

    Well I was right. After the Tech replaced both video cards we fired it up and the Blue video corruption was back as before. Well I told him before we even started working on it that it was the cable. Well guess what they didn't send the cable even thou I told the guy on the phone to send it. So to test my theory we took apart the computer again and left the cable disconnected from the video cards. Low and behold it works now!!

    They are overnighting a new cable so even thou it's not fixed yet I have to give props for the fast turnaround on this machine. Wish me luck that the new cable works (it should) :cool:
