If I buy an AW15 with the 4k screen in the USA and go back home and if it fails
will they send me a 4k screen in my home country or not since they dont have the 4k option here.
Also is it worth spending so much knowing that I might not get an exact replacement and might have to downgrade to the 1080screen.

The warranty is on the specification you bought, so assuming you bought with a 4k screen and it fails, it is covered. Dells warranty is global or international. As for 'is it worth it?' - well, that's a personal choice.....if it's just the warranty side of things that concerns you, I wouldn't worry.

Thanks I wasnt sure if it would be covered in India

If you are unsure, double check by calling Dell, but I'm pretty sure that your warranty will cover the original configuration regardless of where you are.

Hi,
About the warranty.
You would need to perform a Warranty Transfer to your home country.
But bear in mind, there are some countries where we cannot ship or maintain the value of the warranty, mostly because we don't have the facilities, parts or knowledge for the techs to be able to replace the components or the entire monitor.
If you want to have the monitor taken a look at or replaced, the monitor will have to be within the US and Canada borders at a proper house or business we're able to reach.
Sorry about that!steviejones133 likes this. -
