AW/Dell/Microsoft/HP are pretty good at offering free machines to anyone willing to use them in a movie, game, or show of some other kind. Apple is too, even better than Microsoft in some cases. AMD/nVidia are also willing to give away free product for that oh so valuable 10 second intro on a game.

They're always fighting for that valuable eye/brain space.

I noticed that, too. :D Pretty sure it was an M14x R2.

The thing about blurring out the logo, or removing it, not having to pay the company anything for using their product. As long as it is not identifiable by the logo, they don't have to. ;)

Well in the game shadow warrior I was at a cargoship dock that was over run by demons. There were a lot of AW containers + a few other companies.
But yes it was funny to me as AW had a lot of problems and delays shipping the new machines. Was like right on the money and was good as a explanation

hypersonik now that you talk about it i do remember seeing it too. Nice find :)

Probably one of my funniest moments was playing one of the fear expansions and seeing binary math for partial octet subletting on the whiteboards.... Except they only had 3 octets for their IP addresses in game. Got a steam screenshot hiding somewhere. Sorry for derailing as it was not an alienware sighting.

I remember feeling proud that I had an M17x R1 before the mighty Dr. Sheldon Cooper did... and still do! :D

I've seen many other games with the "Plays best on Alienware" tags. :p Not many games out there with it involved in the gameplay though.
