    Alienware logo's on back of laptop

    Hey ppl,

    Just ordered an m11x the other day. I got the standard logo - Alienhead 3d. Is that logo backlit or do I have to get the alienhead glow one ??

    The logo on the lid? It's backlit apparently with the backlight for the LCD.

    Yeah the one on the back of the lid. Its just when I was setting up the order, I had the choice of the 3D one or the glow one... Here are some pics from the dell order site. Are they both backlit???

    The avatar is the picture that is shown on the sign on screen in your profile. It's not the Alienware lighted head.

    I LOL'd. :D Yeah, what you are choosing there is actually your user picture in Windows.

    You can't change logo on the back. Even though it would be pretty cool if you customize the back with Alien Schematic. ;)

    Yes. Unfortunately, that means all also look pretty much the same, except for the backlit color and a different lighting scheme. But I guess I can live with that. :)

    Can you change this picture or are you stuck with the one you chose? I'm guessing you can change it. I think I went with the default 3D one if not. You can change it right? Probably an amusing question to those who know... :D

    yea, you can change it. All wallpapers and avatars shown on the options page are in the system. Its only to give you what you'd like to see when you switch it on first time.
