I was going through the customizing page for Canada and while I was customizing it I noticed that there was no option for a CD-Drive, while in the US there was an option to buy a CD-Drive to put into the laptop. So would that mean that when your buying a m11x in Canada they won't add-on a CD-Drive even if you want them to?

That option is merely an external DVD drive hooked in through a USB port. You can buy it from Dell Canada's gear shop or most electronic stores sell them as well. No m11x has a built in optical drive.

Also, Dell reps have apparently been telling people only Dell drives work with it, but this is rubbish. ANY external optical disc drive with a USB connection will work with it.
