My m15x should be (im assured by Alienware) starting production on Monday. So i'll say Wednesday at the earliest :(

I was just wondering what the infrared receiver can be used for?

Is it just a connection for old phones?

or can it be used for peripherals such as remote controls?

    Thanks

Yeah, I never knew why they still bother with these IF receivers. Don't you also need to place your laptop and the sprinter in a straight line for it to work?
