    How would the m15x w/5850 at 1600x900 compare to m17x w/cf5870s at 1920x1200 in gameplay?

    core i7 720 (both)
    4 gb ram (both)

    Primarily WOW and L4D2, and BFBC2

    The resolution of the m17x is much higher, I think that might cancel out the extra performance you would have from the second card.

    So they might be pretty close in performance if you ask me.

    Ever so slight edge to the m17x because unlike the m15x, you can get the 5870's straight from the factory. ;)

    then again, I own an m15x and they rock. Case closed haha
