    I was wondering if i can port the 4 gig, and 8800m gtx and core 2 2.8 x9000 into an m15x from an m17x?

    the RAM and CPU yes

    GPU's no..... you can put one 8800m gtx in it but not 2

    the 8800m gtx is the same as a 9800m gt

    also, you could move the HDD over as well. the optical drive too, but you'd have to open up the SB caddies. finally, the mini-PCIe cards (wifi, BT, etc) should be removable as well.
