    Alienware m5550i series Vista Support CD v1.0

    My AW M5550i is now over a year, and I realize that it needs to be reinstalled a fresh OS. I did a fresh installation with Windows Vista which came with my system. Then I go on to install all drivers for it with the Vista Support CD v1.0 which also came with the computer, and I found out that the CD is missing so many file and it freezes up my system every time I try to install drivers. I guess that the CD is broken. Does any one have a copy of that CD? Please up load it and give the link to down load!!! I know that it's hard to find drivers, but I really need that CD in some cases if I don't have internet connection at home. Thanks a lot!

    Sorry, just sent my support CD's back to AW for credit return so I can't help you, vzv.

    However, I suggest you download all the drivers for the m5550 from your HIVE and burn it on a disc. And your favorite programs as well. That's better since the site has more updated video drivers.

    By the way, AW has just recently released BETA drivers for the 7600go XP and Vista BETA will be released soon.
