    Hey I just received my Alienware Optx 2210 along with Dell AX210 speakers, How do I connect my ps3 to the monitor currently im using a HDMI cable but im not getting any sound. Help please, in return Rep


    EDIT: the monitor has an audio output and my speakers have the green cable and a USB, but thats about it.

    You can not use the hdmi port on a ps3 if the devce used does not support sound. Afaik the ps3 is limited to 1 output device at a time. If you have the component cable harness with the audio cables on it you can attempt to use a 2.5mm y splitter and 2.5mm to 3.5mm adaptors to use the stereo cable for the desktop speakers however you will only recieve sound in mono, and I don't think it would work anyway since, as I said before it can only output through 1 cable at a time.
