    Alienware outlet order

    How long does it usually take to ship from the outlet. I ordered on 9-15 and it says it is in production with an estimated delivery of 9-26. I thought refurbished laptops are already to be shipped, why would it take this long? Why would it also be in production? These systems are already built, right? Can someone shed some light on this for me , thanks

    did it go through a production phase at all? cause mine originally said 9-21 but now change to 9-26, i might give them a call and see whats up.

    About 3 to 4 days to get ready in production, then how many days for the ship. 2 day or NBD next buss day are counted after it ships. Also the date posted is the max it would take they always adjust that and then Fedex adjusts it again. always fun waiting. ;)

    you can call order status and politely ask for upgrade shipping as a courtesy with no charge. make sure you give them a nice 'happy' reason.

    Yeah my M18x was delivered mad early. Ordered it the 9/13, estimated delivery date was the 22nd. Got it the 16th lol.

    No display port adapter is included. You 'll receive the power adapter, the O/S disc and the alienware manual. That's it.

    Im very happy with my M18x that I purchased from the outlet.

    If the unit doesn't ship immediately (or within 48hrs), they usually are behind schedule sourcing refurb parts to build out your system or (as I found out with a few outlet purchases), they did not have the item. A polite email/call or 5 got the ball rolling and they ended up building me a new one in one instance and finding another for the other order.
