So I'm on the EPP site to price out a M18X. I noticed that when I up optioned on the CPU the costed added to the total did not equal what the check box said the add price should be. What the heck. I kept going using a calculator of bounce the numbers and the gap kept getting bigger. What is Dell trying to pull here?

i would just call their EPP number so u can talk to US reps and haggle out a deal with them. The pricing online varies between sites and EPP site sometimes doesn't give u the best deal.
