Alienware sent me a computer with alien respawn but they put a password on it so that i cant even use respawn.

    Aren't they clever?

a password to access what? the partition? or just run the program? also, have you tried the tag you used to register at the AW website, or your real name?

    to run the program :(

they put a password on the program so i cant even use respawn.

we dont have tag in australia AW thinks that people from outside USA dont deserve support as they have denied us access to usa forum and help support.

no because i was forced to order from australia

god i hope they didnt give me an unwanted returned computer that was used by someone else that had installed a password to alien respawn.

i cant believe these knob heads from AW would put a password on the alienware respawn program to deny me the rights to respawn.

yes i had to use the phone system because i returned the broken hinge m15x.

they wouldnt give me a cash refund so i was forced to buy a desktop instead.

i need to urgently respawn because my computer slows down so bad after 10 minutes of usage.

i am getting "running out of virtual memory" problem with this computer.

well that's easily fixed i think. you've probably got a memory leak. open your task manager, go to the "processes" tab, and look for any program utilizing an inordinate amount of RAM. also, click on "view", then on "select columns", and mark "virtual memory size". make sure to check this column as well.

ahh i got your message to0 late i pressed F10 at boot time for system restore but it's stuck on "Reformatting the Windows Partition of my hard drive" and progress 0%.

I think it's having problem because of my raid setup.

This is the first time i have raid inside a computer so i dont know how it will reformat my harddrive without killing the respawn partition.

i did choose full factory restore from the option.

i have a lot of photos i took from travelling + mp3 leggally bought + movies that were dvds that i have legally bought and backed up to watch on oil rigs. 32 gigs is not much compared to people with 1 terabyte of p0rn.

I dont know why the knob head put password on the respawn and not tell us about it - that's just plain ignorant by AW.
