    Seems they're offering a refurbished product of the older m17x model and the m5550. Thought I should update the boards; the only thing customizable on the systems is basically the warranty..and the RAM for the m17x.

    If they sell blue M7700 i would buy one for decorative purposes lol

    PS: they always sold refurb on ebay... They just put a advertising on the website :p

    SPECIALLY THE m17x STARTING @ 1799$

    single GTX 260m beats SLI 8700's

    yea seriously, the M17x is the first time I've been into a mobile computer. I used to be a desktop person...then got amazingly sick of them xD

    Its called "Regurgitating the original sales pitch". At the time, the keyboard design was an exclusive AW design. Now the concept is in all of their laptops, pretty much. Same design as the Illuminated keyboard, just without the lighting inside.

    There is no way that I would get these with only 8700M GTs.I was expecting they would atleast give us the previous 9800M GTs for a decent price.At that price I would go with a sager because I would rather have a single GTX 260/280M for the price.From what it seems its just an M1730 in an old M17x Chasis.I wouldnt get this unless just to say I have an alienware.I figure it more worth it to just get the new M17x or even the M17 than these refurbished ones.

    It also has n0s that keeps it c00L
