    Does anyone know if Alien ware still offers upgrades to users with the M17. I am looking to upgrade my cpu and was wondering if they would still offer the core 2 extreme dual core. I know I need to call but i was wondering if anyone could give me info before hand.

    Yes they still offering upgrades provided you still have your warranty intact. But you will need to send your laptop back in to them to have the upgrade cause they won't sell you the processor alone.

    They usually won't sell parts for models that are no longer in production, as I found out with my m9700. They said they were saving them for warranty replacements. You are probably better off getting one somewhere else, it may be your only option. Ebay is popular with some of the folks on here.
