    1.The rumored price is going to be $699.00 (My source is The Offical rules of the X51 contest)
    "6. Prize: Grand prize: One (1) winner will receive one (1) Alienware gaming system (Approximate Retail Value of this prize is $699.00). "

    2.Reveal Date is 01-18-12 according to the Alienware website.

    Alienware needs to make a cheaper desktop. This was the best move they could have made in my opinion, if it really is $1000 or less.

    I was thinking that they were gonna revise the Area 51 and make it basically the flagship of alienware just like before,

    But judging from the price it seems like its going to a cheaper desktop, Hopefully they reintroduce the Area 51 later on. Or perhaps its some kind of setup since it says "Alienware gaming system" wonder what it is.....
