Alienware-related threads on IdeaStorm

Hi guys,

I contribute somewhat regularly on Dell's IdeaStorm website. I don't know if you know it, but it's actually a nice website where you can propose ideas, vote on others' ideas, and when ideas get enough votes Dell looks at them and decides on whether to implement them or not.

Registering is simple and free (obviously), and voting ideas takes just a click. The site used to have a bad interface, but recently they revamped it and it's much better.

While there's no guarantee that the Dell folks will implement something even if the community loves the idea, at least it gets their ear, which is one step in the right direction.

So I'm making this thread as a centralized place where Alienware owners and owner-wannabes (like me ) can post links to IdeaStorm ideas related to Alienware, especially those that started here at NBR. I start with Alienware, and not all of Dell, because a) I'm more interested in AW personally, and b) the IdeaStorm AW community appears to be stronger than the Dell community as a whole.

I'll start. I don't know all the ideas which came from NBR, so if I missed one let me know (or just post it in this thread):
Placing EU reps at major forums, like Bill, Allan, etc here at NBR.
Asking for an Alienware M11x R4
Alienware M12x
Docking station for Alienware laptops
Offering "upgrade kits" for changing the GPU in AW laptops
Matte screens on AW laptops
OLED screens in AW laptops
Alienware external GPUs
Flip down feet to improve airflow (posted by ejohnson)
Letting users know the brand and model of SSDs when configuring (not really directly related to AW, but still worth mentioning)

These aren't all the AW ideas on their website (that would be a VERY long post) but are the ones I find most interesting. Obviously, I am biased towards my own preferences. If you see something which YOU like, post here!

Great idea gathering those together. As they say "+rep!". There's a lot to be proposed and (re-)consider on how AW can 'adjust' to its users needs. I am also glad people from Dell actually read what we have to say.
