I am not sure if this is the right place to post it, but I am very unhappy about this problem and I really need help, so here I go !

I bought my alienware a few months ago, and I was having problems with fps, first was the power, was in balanced, now is in high perf. After some time I start suffering problems again, It was the Stealth Mode. So I downloaded one program from this site and I fix it, now I am having problems again, I am really not sure what is causing the problem.

Can someone help me please ?

    Thanks !

let me ask you something. u have the M15x with core i7 and either 260m or 5850?

i had one with i7 and 260m and when the temps go high after some gaming, the gpu will just throttle down. not sure if there is a new bios update but when i had it early last year, you cannot stress both cpu and gpu at the same time with such specs.

run cpuz and gpuz to find out with any is THROTTLING

    Reyn,

At this point you have basically stated, "something about the frame rates for my unknown computer is not right, how do I fix it?".

In order to help you further, we are going to need a wee bit more information. If you could please start with the model & specs (in the correct model subforum) with a little more information on the issue, I'm sure someone in this community could help you further.

    Thanks & good luck.

    Hi Reyn...

As Taz mentioned, we need more information in order to help you troubleshoot the problems you are having.

    1. System (15x, 17x)
    2. GPU and Display Driver
    3. What program 'from this site' did you download
    4. Describe the problem in as much detail as you can

Finally, please do post in the sub-forum for your model of system. If its a M15x, post in the M15x section. 17x, post in the M17x section.

Welcome to the forum! With the above info, I'm sure we can suggest something. Put it together in a new thread in the appropriate section and we'll go from there.
