Yeah, that looks pretty awesome... Great graphics. And we know YouTube never does it justice. Have you tried 1440p just for kicks? If the FPS will hold up well enough, I'm sure it would look great.

Hey good idea. I might give it a try and see how it goes. When I was playing around with settings I dropped the res and noticed it made no barely any difference.. hopefully it's the same story moving up. I just found this game seems to respond well to high memory clocks so we'll see how it goes.

I have watch dogs running at 30fps because i would see temps go really high into the 80s and that would get on my nerves when playing the game at 60fps.

TBH 30fps looks fine but not fluid like 60fps and i could excuse the open world genre from the 60fps requirement....something i demand from shooters.

Looks like GeForce Experience was updated with some hopefully nice enhancements.

I was hoping the Desktop Capture would work, but the selection box is missing. Appears that is expected on mobile GPUs. I hope they add it for mobile because I could really use that.

It's nice that all the other support is there now... especially ShadowPlay without a shortcut modifier. I sometimes game with my LCD cranked up to 2560x1440, so that's nice to not have it downscaled to 1080p.

I've got zero use for Push-to-Talk, Twitch, FPS Counter or Shield streaming, but I'm happy for those that either do, or think they might someday.

Yummy, indeed. Every red-blooded American Patriot should have several grenade launchers like that in their home security plan, along with a big stash of ammo for them. If the gun control Nazis ever have things go their way it would be nice to have a few tricks up the sleeve to be prepared for the arrival of the confiscation squad, LOL.

    Wolfenstein: The New Order 8/10

Game runs pretty good at around 50-60FPS+ without video recording and is rather pretty. Game settings in the video.

    Watch Dogs 6.5/10

Runs pretty badly but im sure this will be improved in future game/driver updates. Frames dip from 20-60fps, Game settings in the video.

I find the fps fluctuations happen less when the cap is 30fps in watch dogs but i still get stuttering when on high textures.

It has been a while and I cannot remember now... is there a way in CCC to manually assign a CrossFire optimized profile for one game to another game? I know there used to be with Radeon Pro, but I don't know if that program is still being supported/updated like it used to be. TBoneSan is getting really good results using Far Cry 3 SLI bits for Watch Dogs. Maybe that concept could work for 7970M CF as well.

This game is so much fun and looks fantastic. Even though the game engine does not support multi-GPU it still runs as smooth as silk. I got this about $25 cheaper than Steam, too.

Kinda disappointed by the beta's assets. The model quality and animations are terrible even for a beta.

Yeah just gave it a try. Nice to look at - I want to see that in 3D :D.

Strange problem though, the demo runs through OK but the first test has a black screen (with the counter on it and running). The rest of the tests run fine until the final combined test. This has a couple of 'blackouts' for a second or two at certain points .

Probably a driver issue as I've seen others having this in games, luckily all the games I am playing are working fine so I'll see what the next driver brings

Yes, this is a known issue. In fact, Futuremark has a blurb about it and tells which driver to use to fix it. They also state that NVIDIA has a fix for that in the next driver release.

It is also nice that they added the other Ice Storm levels to make it more challenging.

    Well hopefully today. Quote:
The 3DMark issue is fixed in tomorrows BETA driver release. Also going back to driver 335.23 also fixes this issue.

Now to see if I can find it....

Here: NVIDIA DRIVERS GeForce 340.43 Driver (BETA) BETA

    It is fixed :D

It's been a while since I could post a video here, so here's one of a mod I've been working with today on Watch Dogs. Just got released. This one's by the other guy, Kadzait24 along with some other tweaks from different guys I merged in with his mod. No OSD on this one, but I was happy enough to have a mostly stutter-free game that I forgot about it.

Great games purchased for next to nothing on Steam sales are so much more fun than great games purchased at stupidly expensive retail prices. I procrastinated about buying this game for so long and got it the other day for $6 with a bunch of DLC.

I did not feel like waiting to re-render this at 1440p, but it plays fantastic with very high settings at 2560x1440. At 1080p average is over 100 FPS with very high settings.

Max Payne 3 was awesome and addicting. I was initially hesitant as it's barely a shadow of its former self which was one of my all time favorites. However, just as a game, its damn good! Gotta love spraying those bullets everywhere and busting up the place :D

how does it fair in the night club when you jump out the window and onto the dance floor? for me it's always dropped into the 40s with tesselation on.

For the most part, I haven't noticed any evidence of frame rates dropping at any point... very smooth.

If you look in the video I posted, about 2:43 where he comes up out of the water in the swimming pool it hit 30.3 FPS for a split second. It happens quick and you have to pay attention or it is easy to miss.

This is with tessellation maxed out at 2560x1440. At 1080p I have never seen any kind of slow down.

7970M compatible? Looking at D3DGear but it only has 15 day trial...

edit: going to try "action" 30 trial by the time it expires I will have a 680M to play with so will need it no more...

edit2: huge framerate hit and lag. How do you guys do this? Can only SLI or Xfire capable machines do fluid gameplay recording?

No, unfortunately not AMD compatible. But, most of the contributors to the videos in this thread are people who do not have SLI or CF. Me, TBoneSan, Throbin are multi-GPU, but I don't remember anyone else.

Before ShadowPlay the best option (IMHO) was MSI Afterburner video capture. If I were running AMD now that is what I would use for software. I own Fraps and the hit on performance is too high. Don't waste money on it for video capture. It's useful for benching more than video capture.

What I really want is one of these: AVerMedia Video Device C875 (Live Gamer Portable) USB 2.0 Interface or one of these AVerMedia ExtremeCap U3 capture card CV710 USB 3.0 Interface
