Need a little advice. Still looking for the best drivers for my M17X with the 8800 gtx cards in sli. Have tried most from the 180. to 177. series from laptopvideo2go. Some give lower GPU temps, some give better game performance. Some work better with the modded inf file some work better without it. Trying to find the best performance with lowest temps. All suggestions are appreciated.

just use the most recent official drivers and you should be fine, the increase of using other drivers wouldent be noticable unless you have a frame rate monitoring program up and spend all of your time watching that which would be stupid because you wouldent be spending your time playing the game, also to reduce temps follow one of the under volting guides.

    Hope this helps.

Blu-Ray is not an issue for me. Currently running the modded inf version of 179.13 drivers. Game performance is OK but GPU temps are higher than i want. Tried the unmodded inf version where my lappy sees 9800gt drivers. Does not work as well on my lappy.

I'm waiting for the "Big Bang II" frceware to be a final release. It seems this will give the best Sli performance... well, in theory anyway (",)
