When you go onto the website All Powerful the tag reads:

"Official Dell Alienware site for new allpowerful gaming laptops and desktops."

    Where are the desktops???

    What about the laptop(s)....???

I think we can expect a lot from this in the coming month. Who else thinks so???
    :)

Moo found this a LONG time ago. lol

It might mean nothing. 90-something percent of all computers sold are laptops nowadays so desktops aren't getting updates as often as they used too.

Yep, I actually saw this the first day that the site came out with the timer but I did not know that it was talked about here.

I agree with you most PC these days are laptops but the question is can we expect an 18" laptop from Dell/AW??? That would be awesome... What about a 15"?

Anyways, I was just putting the thought out there.

I am not much for anything past 17 inches.

Any size after that the system loses it's sleekness and becomes a thick, ugly mess, IMO.

To each his own though, right? lol

Well I think there would be a market for an 18" as they could put a factory OC CPU as I am sure they could add water cooling into the system.

A lot could be done with an 18" that cannot be done with a 17".

I think the M17X is one of the most beautiful and well done 17" ever but there are limitations due to size that just 1" could overcome...

If Dell creates an 18" laptop it would be a Studio XPS with a single GPU to compete against HP, Acer, Sony and Toshiba's offerings in that size.

Someone tried that with an external rad to an M17 and it went smoothly until you needed to take it somewhere. It had terrible battery life (using a separate 9 cell battery for the pump) and it was huge.

There is no way to internally water cool a laptop, they just aren't thick enough. Also, how would you power/refill/bleed it? It would be a huge hassle..IMO laptops are better off air cooled.
