The buy it now is $4033 USD! A similarly configured device is $3474 USD on Alienwares site.

The starting bid is $2962 USD.

I dont like his excuse for selling it..."I got it as a gift, but dont need it"

My brother and some others as well got conned on Ebay buying lap-tops(believe it or not they caught the guy and he was a previous Xfactor contestant)

Ask him to show you some photos of the lap-top at home to see if it exists!

not a bad price though...I suspect it a few hundred quid saving if its genuine of course.

    good luck!

You can buy a keyboard for about $80 or something like that and keyboards are fairly simple to replace.

    I don't trust this lol.
I mean he could just as easily just return it to Alienware and get full refund or pay restocking.

I don't think you should risk that much money on ebay on stuff like this.

we pay too much for everything over here... you could sell anything bought outside the UK and sell it for more in the UK... of course that is where import duty comes into play.... maybe

Chef, the only reason you'd have to buy the M17x is the better graphics cards. And I reckon the 4850s will come to the M17...(eventually)

Sure there are better lights and style but at the cost of a thicker and heavier laptop.

That's just my opinion on it at least.

yeah i see what you are saying evil... its a fickle world i work in where the latest and greatest is the order of the day.... i guess its rubbing off on me! This brick of an M17 is already impractical enough on the yacht i work on. I think i will knock this idea on the head.

still seems like a good deal tho!!! :-D

You could ask the seller to take some pictures of the notebook beside a piece of paper showing his eBay username; or today's newspaper. Good luck.

No activity in his account since Feb. That always makes me suspect a hijacked account.

I would not buy it unless I was picking it up in person and paying.

well he has uploaded some shots the of the laptop in his garden, definitely the "all powerful" and looks new.... still has the screen protector etc in place. I know what you mean about the no activity thing but this guy hasnt sold much he seems to be more a buyer than than a seller.... be interesting to see how much it goes for
