After 3 weeks of use, and 6+ hours on the phone with technical support begging and yelling at them to take it back for repairs its finally on its way. Yesterday my m15x randomly decided to give me a BSOD and shut down.. Then everytime i would start my computer windows would not even load just go right to a BSOD and shut down. Have no idea what it is and neither did Alienware.. So after 6 grueling hours explaining to them that i tested both my ram and other components and that their was nothing other to do then send it back (Which they kept trying to tell me to do the same thing over and over again) i was finally able to convince one of the tech supports guys to send it back..

Very painful process and now im out a computer for another couple of weeks.. sucks.. :(

If you haven't sent it back to Alienware already, then try reformatting. Sorry to hear about your woes.

That's strange; I had no problems getting them to give me an RMA number for the keyboard problem.

Yeah i tried to reformat because that was the other option we tried.. and while windows would install it would give a BSOD through the installation.. Who knows i dont know what to do.. If im not happy with the repair ill probably return it

Did you purchase the 4gb memory from AW? Another cause could be faulty memory. I had something similar happen to me a couple years back that turned out to be a single faulty ram module.
