    ......In thinking that I will NEVER be able to order the m15x with the x9000 and without the GTX. It occured to me that what may only be available is the specifications shown at the top of the page on the AW UK site as a MAXIMUM for instance, those at the top show only the 1.6 Penryn and the 1.8 Penryn and the GT card. I reckon that I will never be able to choose to not have the GTX in my machine if i want the core 2 extreme. In which case I don't want an Alienware, cause i cant configure to how "I" want it.

    You should be able to upgrade it to the X9000, I think those spec's just show what you get as a base system for that amount - then you can upgrade each part.
