Am i seeing things

ordered: 7th march
moved to phase 5: 25th march
moved to phase 6:14th april (for 5 hours)
moved back to phase 5: 14th april
total 25 days in phase 5
30 minutes ago = phase 5
now 10am = phase 9 shipped
should i be happy or scared. priority shipping so hopefully it could be tomorrow. (knowing my luck the dhl van will get a flat tyre )

 

Sounds right to me, our laptops seem to have been in almost the same stage all the way through and mine said it shipped yesterday. Though if you have priority shipping you'll probably get yours before mine!

it takes 24 hours for dhl to update their site so you wont see anything until tomorrow. i think its a monday delivery at the earliest.

Ah, I've got some great news again; I just phoned to talk to their CS - the french guy answered, I hanged up. Then I dialled again and this guy from tech support picks up who told me that all the order status and customer support people went home so I'd have to phone in tomorrow.

Ok so I managed to get him to tell me a few things:
I'm in phase 6 - somehow they've built the notebook BUT they are still waiting for the 200GB HDD (24th Apr ). So how on earth did they build it and are "integrating" if they're missing the HDD. This is the point where he lost me... and he sounded quite sure on himself "Oh yeah, the computer's already built, but we're just waiting for some parts". WTF?

I'd write another long e-mail but I feel it will be in vain because I didn't get a reply from the last one I wrote - and that's simply unacceptable; for the customer support not to reply to a customer's emails!

i think they took the HD out of yours and put it in mine

the very same thing happened to me. computer was finished and goin through its 200 point check when it was pulled for a faulty screen. new screen arived but now waiting for HD. hang on a minute, if it was pulled from 200 point check then it must have been built so HD would have already been in it. sumfin fishy here.
anyway, dont just send them an email. reply to one of the ones you received from them telling you about waiting for HD. they have to reply to them emails within 24-48 hours.

That's what I did last time and didn't get a reply. Maybe they've put me into phase 5 then 6 to shut me up.
Gonna phone again tomorrow at 8:00am to see what the hell is going on... Looks like I won't be getting it before 30th when I'm going away.

 

You gotta wait until the DHL site updates their records. This is normal, it also happens for Fed-ex and UPS packages as well.

Hey congrats on getting your m15x shipped out MrDJ !! I got mine on Wed evening. I went crazy trying not to fiddle with is too much cos I had an exam on Thursday. Overall Im happy with it. No problems whatsoever except for minor ones like **** speakers (Ok quality but no bass and low volume). The only slight 'problems' could be a reallt tiny bit of the silver plastic on the left speaker has a little extra plastic on it and I dont know if its just mine but my keyboard doesnt light up evenly i.e some keys have little dull parts ans for most toy need to be looking at them from a higher angle to see the full letter lit up. Is this just mine or are all m15xs like this? No downclocking in mine while playing crysis all high @ 1440x900.
I am totally satisfied with my purchase in short. It looks kick ass !! My mates are all blown away by it. One guy actually almost shat himself when he saw it .

Mine shipped yesterday. Ordered and shipped in 7 days. but, its going to take another 7 to get here since its coming from all the way across the US.

 

Congrads everyone who got their systems . I am one unlucky guy. My was spipped from AW 09/04, and finnaly arrived yesterday. The only thing was, when it arrived, I was on the plane to overseas . So I only get to touch it on sunday evening after I'm back . CANT WAIT!!!. First thing I'll do is installing the new BIOS.

 

impressive it should already have a newer bios, oh wait they released a second one , never mind , its me honest I am just a little DUH... etc

uneven lighting on the keyboard would wind me up though..........
ah well I dont even have lights..............yet...................

i cant believe what ive read so far about the speakers. its like buying a rolls royce with mini seats in it. i would of thought they would have put bose speakers in it. oh well,i will be running mine through 1000watt speakers with the upgraded sound card so mine should be ok.

also the keyboard sounds a bit dodgy. when you do your review (hint hint) see if you can get a picture of the keys without using a flash.

ive got a great idea for you to try BOFH1971
buy one of them highlighter pens and draw over the letters on your keyboard. then buy an ultraviolet light and put it above your desk.
turn it on and bingo, youve got an illuminous keyboard.

 

Ill try to get on it as soon as I can, though dont expect to see it for a few days

 

very funny MrDJ, but I would also end up with luminous fingertips......

let just say that if there are no proper lightyup keyboards available, I might just have to start modding..........now where did I put that dremel............
