So i got home late last night and was finally able to open up my new laptop!
Im not gonna do a full review just yet because i wanna wait and give a better assessment.
but here are my initial thoughts:

Screen wobble- yeah its definitly there but it doesn't move when typing on desk but it definitly moves quite a bit more than i would like

Screen Creaking- not too bad. there is a little initially but I've heard worse from other people's reviews.

Webcam- works pretty well imo. its not the best but i think it gets the job done.

Touch controls- all work very well and are very responsive. at first it took me awhile to get used to the volume slider but now that im used to it, it works very well and is fun to use

keyboard- this is by far my favorite laptop keyboard i have ever used. its really great and the lights make it even better. there is however the tiniest bit of flex around the arrow keys but i probably wouldn't have noticed it if i hadn't been reading all the reviews on the forum. There isn't any lag either.

Case- the case seems solid with the exception of the border of the screen. it seems loose and when i push on it near the webcam i can feel it move slightly back and forth. but other than that this thing looks perfect and i cannot find a single scratch or flaw.

Performance- i haven't really gotten to testing this out yet so i can't really commit on it but so far everything runs really smoothly.

Speakers- They are very average for laptop speakers. Not great but they get the job done and there is no clicking crackling or anything like that like others have reported.

But so far i am really please with it. The creaking isn't really bad at all and doesn't bother me. And the only thing that is some what annoying is the wobble. I still have a lot of things to put on this thing so I'll give a better review as things progress. But i wanna thank everyone who answered my questions and helped me along the way!

cool initial thoughts, thanks for sharing

as far as the F keys go, you have to press the 'FN' key on the bottom left at the same time...I think that should do it for you =)

did you try pressing and holding the Fn key when trying to use the F-functions? Like it says on the insert that came INSIDE the laptop (that you had to remove to use it)?
