    Hi all,

Had another M17 WoW question, in case anyone knows. I've been interested in multiboxing previously, and I'm considering it again - but before I create a second account and try it out, I was curious if anyone else has tried it with an M17. I'm wondering how the computer will handle it - my guess is the CPU will be OK, but I'm concerned that I may need more than 4G of RAM.

So, anyone tried it, or any experienced multiboxers out there? Any input on if my system would perform OK?

(Oh, and I'm just thinking 2 accounts - so not really serious multiboxing - keep that in mind as you consider performance requirements. Dual-boxing, I guess... :) )

Ram wise you should be fine (assuming you are running 64bit os and can benefit from all 4gb). The main problem is GPU power. So if you are planning to dualbox on the M17 be prepared to drop the graphics a bit.

It should handle multiboxing without much trouble. 4GB of RAM should be plenty especially with a 64-bit system, each client should only use a little less than 1GB (if LoTRO is anything to go by-basing it slightly on that) so RAM-wise you'll be fine unless you have loads of background processes running. however you won't have enough GPU power to run both windows maxed. You'll have to drop the graphics a bit but that's about it.

OK, thanks - I could handle dropping the graphics some to see what it's like... May have to look into it!

lol... I'm torn. The new zone makeovers are interesting, but I'm afraid they may overdo it (it kinda bugs me in games when they change EVERYTHINH at once, and this sounds like one of those changes...) but overall I'm pretty interested in seeing the expansion.

Except.... Goblins? Sheesh! At least Worgen are kinda cool - but Goblins are what the horde get?? :(
