Alright boys here's another one for ya...

First of all, can anyone who has a M17 tell me how easy/difficult it would be to carry it around on a daily basis.

Second, how long would an M17 with t9400 last, as opposed to a
q9300? (mind u i dont play alot of fps games, mostly only rts)....

otherwise the weather is good and all that...xmas soon so the mood is kinda good as it usually is this time of year.... i got a bit of a back pain, might be from that old injury...not sure... oh and those books are awesome, the fantasy series, u know what im talking about, right? no? the steven erikson books, "the malazan book of the fallen" awesome stuff, seriously, would recommend it to all fantasy lovers.... hmm i might give guildwars a shot, never tried it but it looks like it could be kind of fun... a well....

sorry for the drift... so back to question 1: alright im gonna be carrying the lappy around alot but i dont wanna get the m15x as its not as upgradable as the M17.... anyone who has both the M17 and the m15x? get back to me if u do plz!

    Thanks!

It's 10 pounds and enormous. It's heavy. If you're going to carry it around, get a backpack made specifically for 17" laptops or you'll be miserable.

Have had M15X, M17X and now M17. M17 is heavy and the power brick is huge. Definitely need a good backpack made for a 17" laptop and space for the power brick. i am using the same Alienware Odyssey backpack that i got with the M17X and it works well.
