I'm considering buying an Alienware 17 for my next laptop.

Any tips for finding Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals on one?

Are there any decent resellers I should be checking with?

They have already sent out at least one email promo, and there will likely be others as well as postal mail promos.

If I remember correctly they had the sales last year but they were nothing special, but I could be wrong and be thinking of a different event, perhaps someone can clear it up for sure. From what I can remember they were really no better then the normal deals that you could get but again...I could be wrong.

The usual "up to 10% or 15% off" is what happens. But it seems like they push sales much more this time of the year, so it's easier to negotiate.

It's possible that we will have some available by those dates, however we haven't received any info and will probably get it until that date.

This might be a bit off topic but I would personally recommend buying a used R4 instead. They are going out very cheap and I am inclined towards the Ivy Bridge CPUs and their willingness to switch to turbo. The only prominent feature of Haswell is the improved graphics and if you're investing in an alienware that improvement is immaterial.
