The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.
Just tested it. Made absolutely no difference in 3dmark or the games i play. I tweaked my Vista a lot though so the difference might not be that noticeable in my case.
I just got my M17 Monday and have not updated anything yet...not sure what I need!! Saw this and thought it might help...am newb at all this gaming stuff...mainly will be using this for work but I figure the gaming side drivers will also improve my work side!!

I use it and I like it. Don't really care about 3dmark scores, but I'm able to play Crysis with everything set to very high accept shading I've got set on high. At these settings gameplay is smooth and fluid. With Gamebooster off the FPS drop a little.
Give it a shot and see for yourself, it's a small download and is easy to use. I ya don't like it, nothing lost.
I went to Ati.com and tried to download the 9.3 thing and I went through the Catalyst thingy but how do I know if it changed to the 9.3 driver...I checked my device manager and it states the driver version is 8.570.0.0, which makes me think it did not work...any help would be great...I'll also look around the forums!!
