I posted earlier asking for help, but now I am just curious if anyone has the BD-RE UJ235A working with Windows 7 in their M15X?

If so, did you have to do anything special to get it to work. This evening I upgraded the BIOS to current, but still have no luck. Regular DVDs work, just not Blu-Ray - says either disk is blank or format is unsupported. I even moved back from the Nvidia beta driver to the one Dell has listed on the support site.

I really don't think the drive is defective (works for games, burning DVDs, regular DVDs), I just think I may be missing something that should make the Blu-Ray portion work.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Tried what you did and I still get the "disc with unsupported format in drive D:". I will still have to wait to see if anyone with an M15X can get it to work with Windows 7, or if no one can, then I will know it's a system issue. Thanks for the advice though, really thought it might work!
