Anyone us Dell preffered account?

To anyone who used or uses it, is there any problem with it?

 

I purchased two laptops with my dpa, no problems at all. Just make sure you have enough cruelty before purchasing your laptop otherwise they will cancel your order.

 

I use DPA. Only on AW though cause they have no interest from time to time on AW's purchase.

 

I use it everytime I buy from Dell. If you call to get a deal on a system they will often give you more of a discount if you use your DPA.

 

Can anyone explain exactly how does it work? Is it some kind of monthly payment plan?

 

its like a credit card with dell. they give you a spending limit, you have monthly payments, there's interest after a certain point and they usually will offer you a period of no interest. granted you can only use it for purchases through dell but thats bassicly it.

Dell installment plan is an open ended plan where you are not bounded by the terms, you can pay the outstanding any point of time and walk off from the deal. Interest rate varies, depending on your credit worthiness. How long you need/want to pay, its flexible, just talk to a sales rep on your preference.

DPA is a revolving line of credit and the interest rate is fixed at 28.99%(atleast here in Canada)
